Ok, how many times has this been said to you? "Get off your butt." It turns out that studies have found that we spend too much time sitting down. Sound familiar? Parents are usually the ones who make the earliest observation of this behavior, although it continues throughout our lifetimes.
An article titled, "Your body's big enemy? You’re sitting on it", in the Health and Fitness section of MSNBC, and attributed to the magazine "Women's Health" (originally titled, "Sitting Too Much: The dangers of Living a Sedentary Life"), outlines the modern day behavior of spending a lot of time sitting down. This has an adverse effect on our body's ability to process fats and other metabolic functions, like burning calories. As we spend more time sitting (a normal position in front of a computer screen), the overall health of the nation has reflected the lack of movement and exercise. The answer may be to remove all the chairs from classrooms and computer desks. Yeah, like THAT will happen. Seriously, the answer is in getting up from the chair more often, and climbing stairs, and doing something physical throughout the day. It used to be that watching television was the big no-no. Well, try applying that same criticism to all the computer users in all the offices all over the world. Get off your butt. You might live longer.

After Tiger's recent car accident and the media firestorm surrounding him in the aftermath, its no surprise that you suddenly don't see any ads featuring the pro golfer on TV anymore. Many of the ads featured tag lines which no longer seem appropriate for daytime TV.
Jay Busbee's article on Yahoo!News provides a little bit of comic relief in the situation, listing the tag lines whose meanings have changed the most over the past month.
"Is it in you?" --These Gatorade Tiger ads have completely disappeared from the airwaves.
In Tiger's defense, no one is perfect, and he deserves more privacy than he is getting.
BUT, when you are receiving hundreds of millions of dollars in endorsement deals, you should probably take care not to tarnish your image.
